Create objects of nay shape or size, create complex structures, change their densities, set them in motion, or transform them into liquids - it's up to you! Phun is free, will run on Windows, Linux and Mac, and is great to inject a little fun into a physics demonstration. Get your students to test out the concept of friction, or try the same setup in different levels of gravity - or build your own demonstration and make a video to play back later on. The best way to see what Phun can do is to use it yourself, but so you can see what some of the possiblilities are, check out the great videos on Youtube, such as the one below:
There is a wiki, FAQ and forum on the Phun website to help you get started and work through the basic principles of what can be accomplished with the software. If you make any great space science demonstrations using Phun, drop us a link through our Contact page!

... There is a very good article, which explains the nature of simulation - http://wiwapia.com/en/simulator Ed - edited for spelling |

Want a simulator that makes it easy to demonstrate awesome and unusual physics experiments with a variety of objects and materials? Your wish has just been granted by a genie who also happens to be a Swedish graduate student.
